Our client, a local site of a major corporation, has an immediate requirement for a Mechanical Support Technician.
This is an approximate 6 to 12 month contract assignment for the right candidate.Description:
Mechanical technical support for busy product development / engineering test lab.
Hands-on work which will involve extensive time on the floor, involved with connecting and testing large industrial machinery and equipment.
Will train on 1st shift for 2 to three months, then move to 2nd shift hours, 3pm to 12am.
Shift premium applies.Requirements:
- 2 year Mechanical or other applicable Technical degree, plus at least 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.

Working knowledge of pumps.
- Physically able to set up pumps and perform daily testing.
Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 pounds several times per day.
- PC skills.
Negotiable pay rate for the right individual.
