Job Description

Classification:  Business AnalystCompensation:  DOEDo you have EDM (Enterprise Document Management)or Document / Record Management experience? Have you implemented or been involved in an electronic Document management or paperless record management initiative? EMC Documentum experience a plus!The task ahead revolves around the implementation and adoption of our new Document Management System, EMC Documentum. The goal of this assignment is to get all of the silo'd data sitting on various shared drives, file cabinets and bookshelves around the company into centralized document management system. This effort requires an understanding of what the data is, where is it going, and how is it tagged once it gets there. There is approximately 1.5 terabytes of electronic data that will need to moved. In addition to the physical work of scanning and moving data from one place to another, this team must work with multiple business units (15+) to support the changes that will occur as a result of the move. No one likes change, so positive change management processes will be a critical component of this mission. We can accomplish this goal with a knowledgeable team that can not only do the job in a timely manner, but also champion the system to gain acceptance and adoption.This position is full time for 3-6 months. We need someone technical, but not so terribly technical that they can't step back and understand each business units function in the overall organization. Job Requirements

EDM (Enterprise Document Management)or Document/Record Management experience. EMC Documentum is a plus but not a necessity. This is somewhat tedious work that requires good focus, amenable personality and disciplined approach to completing tasks in a methodical and consistent manner. The candidates will need to know how to do basic MS Windows activities (open, save, find, copy, etc). Ability to utilize high speed scanners (training on any equipment the candidate may encounter along the way will be provided).
