Senior Test Engineer
Kelly Engineering Resources has an immediate need for a Senior Test Engineer located in the South Portland Metro Area, Oregon.
Essential Functions:
-
Lead the development and execution of quality test plans for complex, networked systems which may included embedded firmware and application software.
Test Plans and procedures may include functional, performance, robustness, reliability, usability tests. Emphasis on automated testing.

Develop testing tools and systems using a programming language and/or test development tools such as Labview, Python, Selenium, Canoo Webtest, C++, etc.

Define and develop automated test tools, plans and cases. Design and construction of specialized test fixtures. Select and procure test equipment and supplies.

Perform specialized and long-term testing and research projects.
- Provide litigation support in the form of evidence analysis and ???cause and effect??? testing of exemplar devices.

Lead the development of internal ISO quality control procedures.
-
Provide instruction to test technicians in proper test procedure development, execution and safety.

Lead product test review meetings demonstrating product quality and maturity.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
•
A Bachelors Degree in Engineering (electrical or computer science) or Physics.•
Minimum 5 years
R&D test development experience.
• Experience automating testing for embedded firmware,PC application and Web application is required.
•
Software System Test (Black Box, White Box) and bug tracking experience.•
QA knowledge and experience.
•
Experience in manufacturing test procedure development and implementation is desired.•
Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential in the optimum performance of this position.
