Neenah - WIPosition Purpose:
Provide a full range of logistical support to the Procurement and Requisition-To-Check (RTC) business and system processes including analytics and reporting, customer service, training, testing and other activities supporting North America and Global Procurement key strategic, tactical and operational goals and objectives. Customers:
North America and Global SAP system users including: North American sector management, Staff and Mill/Plant Operations, Staff and Mill/Plant Planning, North America Purchasing, Requisitioning, Accounts Payables, Global Procurement, and others.Expectations:
This role functions independently with some supervision, has contact with many functions, roles and levels across the organization.
Assist with market research and conducts category analysis for North America and Global Procurement analysts and buyers.
Provides assistance and insight on category data and communicates learning to North America and Global Procurement analysts and buyers.
Assists with the development and maintenance of detailed database systems to support analysis and reporting for North America and Global Procurement.Scope:
Functions as part of the North America Procurement and Systems Support team, reports to the Manager of the RTC System Support.
Provides logistical support including analytics, reporting, process and system improvements, security administration, training, documentation and helpdesk support for North America and Global SAP system users.
Understands customer needs and provides customer service to all customers.
Using available resources to resolve customer questions and needs professionally.
Demonstrates a working knowledge of applicable K-C policies, procedures, related governmental laws and regulations and implement continuous improvements to same.Dimensions:
Approximately 20,000 SAP system users are supported by this position across all business sectors in North America and Global regions. The Requisition-To-Check workstream business process, procedures, and systems are used to support the sourcing, ordering, purchasing, receiving, payment and accounting for approximately $9 billion dollars worth of goods and services. Qualifications/Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science or related discipline or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
Knowledge and/or experience in the area of Procurement, Requisition-To-Check, analytics and reporting preferred.
Excellent skills in organizing, controlling, thoroughness, analysis/troubleshooting, initiative, decision-making, flexibility, personal and organization sensitivity, oral and written communication.
Knowledge of Procurement, RTC, and SAP processes preferred. Strong working knowledge and experience using Excel and SAP BW reporting tools and/or other technologies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SAP working knowledge
Motivated individual who is detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
Exercise independent problem solving and decision making with a high degree of initiative and self coordination.
Knowledge of the organization and its business policies and procedures.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Accountabilities:1. Collaborate with business unit representatives to gather and categorize data needs for Business Warehouse while developing strong business unit partnerships.2. Take work direction from Manager or Analytics and Reporting Analysts on projects to deliver analysis and reporting information. 3. Create, modify, and publish reports from Business Warehouse, SAP R3, and other systems4. Assist with the implementation of report and cube content enhancements in collaboration with the Information and Technology Services team5. Drive standardization where possible creating enterprise reports that achieve economies of scale and user satisfaction.6. Assist with system testing and/or process changes to SAP Business Warehouse and/or other databases and reporting systems by documenting test scripts, executing testing plans and coordinating testing plans as needed. 7. Assist with training program development, create and maintain BW training materials as appropriate for the introduction of new reports or software functionality. Provide training to various groups on report functionality.8. Exhibit a broad understanding of one or more functional business processes in the Requisition-to-Check workstream. Execute and understand SAP transactions related to business processes9. Assist with coaching and mentoring end users in the use of SAP and BW for RTC as a problem solver for process and system issues. 10. Participate in other Procurement and/or RTC activities including: helpdesk support, business process and system training, documentation of business and system procedures, process improvement projects, and special task force assignments as needed11. Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.12. Communicate fully with superiors, colleagues and subordinates and work effectively in a team environment.
