Production Control Specialist
Job Description
Manpower is seeking a Production Control Specialist for our client who will be responsible for monitoring the production schedule and coordinating work between departments. Ensure that target dates are met and all tasks are completed on time. Assist with the planning, tracking, movement and management of material. Resolve problems with inventory, production schedule, and material shortages.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Performing incoming material audits to ensure all material is on-hand before releasing a build to Mfg
Performing outgoing material audits to ensure all material is on-hand before shipping order to customer
Releasing jobs to production
Cycle counting inventory and reporting results
Scanning serial numbers of physical licenses
Storing information in eRoom and management of data to ensure eRoom is up to date and correct
Managing and updating production information in SalesForce
Review and manage production and shipment schedules.
Prepare production reports and monitor, analyze and report performance to schedule of production and production support activities
Oversee the physical movement, ensure security and accountability of inventory through transactional documentation, process and procedure verification
Assist in inventory planning and physical audits
Reconciliation of inventory and database discrepanciesSkills RequiredCustomer focused
