Description
Volt Workforce Solutions has a temp-to-hire opportunity available for an experienced Brake Press Operator.POSITION DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY:Under limited supervision, the Press Brake Operator will operate the following machines:Amada, CNC Press brake, Punch, Tube Bender, Roll , Saw, Laser Cutting Machine, etc.WORK ENVIRONMENT:While performing the duties of this job, the Press Brake Operator regularly works near moving mechanical parts.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Read and understands blue prints and CAD prints.Receives daily work schedule from Supervisor.Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustment.Uses and reads Precision Measuring instruments.Sets tooling and stops, and makes adjustments, in order to accomplish satisfactory quality standards on above-listed machines.Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling, greasing and minor diagnostics.Maintains quality standards throughout entire run of parts.Inspects first and last work piece of new setup and performs periodic inspections of parts for quality during runs.Volt is an equal opportunity employer.
Requirements
3 plus years of recent related NC Brake Press Operation experience.Excellent skills in setting up machines.Ability to read blue prints.Utilized precision measuring tools.Review machine requirements.
