This is a rare opportunity to step in to a Senior Manager role in an international global consumer products company. This is because it is a brand new role. You will work with an experienced seasoned Tax team.
You will bring your international tax planning experience to help initiate, develop, and implement transactions and programs to reduce tax liabiltiy on a world-wide scale -- very sophisticated, very exciting!
Other areas of responsibility include initiating, designing and implementing tax strategies, leading international tax planning projects, perform FAS 5 and FIN 48 tax reserve analyses, review and analyze dometic and foreign court decisions, legislation and regulations; review, update, monitor tax impact of pricing arrangements; prepare file requests for technical requests, tax rulings, etc. with IRS and foreign counterparts. You will assist in expanding into new international markets relative to tax planning, participalte in feasibility studies, analyze complex transactions relative to tax consequences.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree
5-6 years work experience in a major international corporation
2+ years of international tax planning under laws of foreign countries
Excellent project management skills
Fin 48 and FAS 5 experience
