Assistant Nurse Manager-OR for the Richmond Medical Center
We are currently searching for an assistant nurse manager to help direct the day to day operations for a busy OR at the Richmond Medical Center. As the assistant nurse manager, you would be joining a solid management team working hard to ensure our operating theatre delivers the highest quality care to our patient members.
Specifically, here are some of the responsibilities:
• Assist the nurse manager in the day to day clinical operations for busy OR in a union environment.
• Develops and implements action plans for staff development.
• Investigates and resolves patient and family member concerns regarding care.
• Ensure the highest quality of care is provided for patients and is in compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements.
Candidates must have a current California nursing license. We strongly prefer a BSN degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of OR experience required with some supervisory experience strongly preferred, this would include management of staff, and other day to day responsibilities. Knowledge of The Joint Commission, state and federal regulations as well as strong interpersonal ability are essential for success with this position.
