Volt Workforce Solutions, a leader in the staffing industry, is currently assisting one of our clients to locate a PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST/CONTRACT REPRENSENTATIVE. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with excellent pay and benefits! This is a niche client in their industry and a very rewarding opportunity assisting the general public on how to utilize government programs by training the customer service representatives that the public speaks to.In the role, the Specialist will be performing training in the area of government programs including Medi-Cal and Medi-Caid. The ideal candidate will have experience with motivating and training others through effective communication. The position involves travelling to client locations on a regular basis. The Specialist also coordinates screening of incoming calls and potential cases, reviews files, and attends hearings. Documentation is through a hospital data base and Microsoft Office. Requirements
Requirements for this position are:Previous Public Affairs Specialist and/or Contract Representative experience utilizing government programs such as social security and Medi-Cal. Experience in attending hearings on government programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with hospital data bases/software and Microsoft Office. Able to motivate and train others effectively. Must have reliable transportation to travel to various offices.
