INSTALLATION REPAIR SPECIALIST

Lead, direct, and coordinate the activities of repair work group in providing repair and reconditioning services to individuals and industrial customers.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
70% Administrative/Coaching/Team Building- Prepare and evaluate customer repairs including parts and labor, prepare estimated costs, monitor and maintain proper inventory levels. Review Repair Technician estimates on all invoices. Assess and schedule the repair work to be completed, provide necessary training and performance evaluation, make hiring and termination recommendations, set goals and measures for repair team, and maintain structure to provide continuous team growth. Provide technical knowledge for team members. 30% Repair Analysis/Production- Disassemble, clean, and inspect components for repair. Determine necessary replacement parts and reconditioning procedures and cross reference replacement units and components. Complete reconditioning installing new parts, reassemble, test, paint, stamp, and sticker. Retest completed assembly. Use a variety of hand tools (wrench, hammer, handsaw, pneumatic wrench, hand grinder, power drill, and calipers) and shop equipment (lathe, grinder, forklift, hydraulic shop press, welder, acetylene torch, pressure washer, drill press, band saw, parts cleaner). REQUIREMENTS:
3 to 5 years experience in fluid power repair and 1-3 years supervisory experience. High School/GED required. Technical or vocational training preferred. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
