Job Description 


We’re recruiting! Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan has an immediate opening for a Project Scheduler to work for our client in Ann Arbor, MI. Responsibilities: Create, maintain and track an integrated Master Program Schedule, including resource-loaded schedules, milestone Gantt charts and/or PERT charts with varying degrees of detail. The schedules should show major enterprise activities, how they relate to each other as well as the company’s Strategic Plan, major milestones, and any potential resource constraints. The schedules will be used as a decision-making tool for program and customer management. Duties and competencies will include but are not limited to the following:Develop and maintain a detailed Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project; monitor and control changes.
Integrate multiple project schedules from subcontractors and vendors into the overall Master Program Schedule.
Conduct dependency analysis, identifying the critical path, resource loading, and project linking.
Work directly with Program Integrated Product Teams.
Interact with program key stakeholders and other program office personnel.
Create and present executive-level reports and briefings relating to the IMS using Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Track baselines, perform what-if analysis, and develop contingency plans.
Support EVMS activities, to include reviewing Work Scheduled and Work Performed for accuracy and reasonableness.
Conduct Critical Path analysis and Schedule Risk Assessment.
Collect data on schedule progress and report variances to the baseline plan on a timely and regular basis to the Project Team.
Recalculate the schedule to evaluate the effects of scope changes, change proposals, schedule changes, and corrective actions, and report analysis to the Project Team.
After proper approvals, revise the Master Plan and Schedule to incorporate the changes and/or chosen corrective actions.
Develop and maintain various program documents using Microsoft Office Suite Application.Education, Skills, & Experience:Bachelor’s Degree, business preferred.
5-8 years of experience in project scheduling, specifically developing and managing resource-loaded project schedules.
Minimum 4 years hands-on experience with MS Project.
Must be able to work independently, attend technical meetings and obtain statuses to scheduled activities.
Knowledge and experience necessary to recommend courses of action and to advise Program Manager, task leads, and technical leads on positive and negative outcomes to those actions.
Experience in maintaining and providing bi-weekly and monthly variance analysis and working with a development team to gather schedule requirements, dependencies and activities.
Effective written and oral communications skills are required to work well with all levels of staff and managers.
Prior experience with government contracting is a Plus.
Skilled in knowledge and execution of critical path methodology (CPM), risk management concepts, and performance-based contracting.
Excellent interpersonal skills
