Business Development Manager- Silicon Valley (Staffing)
Description
VOLT Workforce Solutions is a dynamic, internationally renowned leader in the staffing services marketplace. Founded in 1950, VOLT has current annual revenues of over $2.1 Billion.
We are looking for Business Development Managers to expand our Administrative Staffing Services. The BDM will be responsible for selling new territories and breaking new accounts through outside sales activities such as cold calls, prospecting, territory management and relationship building.
The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for the following:
- Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed established sales objectives.
- Perform appropriate prospecting activities to identify qualified prospects for new business development.
- Use the consultative sales strategy to effectively overcome client objections and maximize sales activity within assigned territory.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with clients and the community in order to develop new business.
- Collaborate with appropriate internal resources to develop comprehensive sales presentation materials tailored to the account.
- Make formal sales presentations and follow-up calls to prospective new business accounts.
- Interface with appropriate field management to establish pricing for quotes and bids that are consistent with the company's financial objectives.
- Maintain documentation of sales activities in order to facilitate appropriate reporting.
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all services offered by Volt and awareness of the competition i.e. market share, pricing, services offered, etc.
Requirements
DYNAMIC, HIGH ENERGY, HUNTERS WANTED!
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- Staffing industry experience preferred
- Strong sales track record of consistently exceeding quotas.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong PC skills.
