Description
The Asset Management Team Lead oversees the day to day operation of the Hardware Asset Management team. They help maintain and enforce the hardware asset management processes and Asset Lifecycle processes within Sears Holdings. They also help identify enhances to the process and system and help identify potential cost savings. The lead works with the team and other organizations to ensure the accuracy level is met for the hardware asset data. Provide focus on ensuring accurate and timely availability of asset information for operational use; and ensures the overall health of assets, and provides advice concerning asset lifecycle transitions and ongoing management. They are also responsible for the management of the hardware asset SLA’s.

Responsibilities
•Be the Point of Contact for hardware asset management issues within Sears Holdings
•Be the liaison between the hardware asset management team and the business units outside of I&TG
•SME for Hardware Asset Management
•Oversee daily functions within the hardware asset management team.
•Ensure appropriate asset accuracy levels are met
•Identifies areas of process improvement
•Manage inquiries, escalations and issues within the hardware asset management team
•Build and maintain relationships with other business units and organizations within Sears Holdings.
•Track overall cost savings and cost avoidances for the hardware asset management team
•Has joint responsibility for quality and efficiency of problem resolution where Hardware Asset Management expertise is required
•Interfaces with other Systems Management process teams/managers as required with respect to asset data
•Assist with gathering, tracking and reporting on the required data elements for IT assets
•Reviews inventory (physical and automated) for variances with Asset Mgmt database records and resolves
•Analyzes hardware data quality and makes recommendations to improve data quality
•Identifies areas of process improvement
•Reports on and takes appropriate action with respect to ‘missing’ assets or data
•Assist with hardware asset data inquires and escalations
•Assists with asset and process questions from our Sears Holdings India team
•Assist in the management and maintaining of the hardware IT asset management processes, including the IT Asset Lifecycle ProcessSkills
•Good understanding of Asset Management process
•Ability to read and validate invoices
•Proficient with Microsoft Excel
•Ability to recognize trends
•Ability to manage vendors
•Ability to perform analysis and apply results to process improvement
•Ability to follow procedures and identify when changes are required
•Ability to manage and provide continuous improvement of the IT Asset Management Process
•Good oral and written communication skills

•Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
•Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT Asset Management
•Experience with an IT asset management system
•Experience analysing and providing cost savings information
•Minimum of 6 years in Information Technology
•Minimum of 3 years in leading teams
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Audits
•Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with IT Financials
•Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with Compliance
•Minimum of 1 years’ experience doing Chargeback’s/Cross Charges
•Minimum of 1 year experience in Retail
•ITIL v3 Foundations education
