Manages the relationship cycle with vendors. Identifies, qualifies, selects and monitors vendors and suppliers. Negotiates final contracts and the conditions of major contracts while ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations. Establishes systems and procedures to ensure and enhance overall quality of vendor services. Establishes requirements and monitoring measures for suppliers to achieve process and quality standards and commitments. Facilitates major proposals including coordination of effort with all involved parties and the development of team partner relationships with vendors/suppliers to maintain relationships for long-term contracts. Broad expertise or unique knowledge, to enhance skills and contribute to the development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. . May include all or some of the following functions: 1. Recommends strategic DAS deployment planning decisions in support of corporate initiatives, customer demand, technology changes, economic and service reliability criteria; 2. Assists with prioritizing projects (and associated change control) using feasibly and need models; 3. valuation of future economic and service impact selection studies; 4.Creates deliverables such as mgmt reports,  3 Year Plans, Site Acquisition Only plans, Plans of Record, and day-to-day requests; 5. Works with key internal stakeholder (RAN, ASG, ABS, etc) & vendors to determine future business & customer needs.
