Matheson, a distributor of industrial, specialty and medical gases is seeking a person to deliver CO2 to customers.

CO2 Delivery Driver
Topeka, KS

• Drives small tanker to deliver CO2 to customer's place of business.
• Collects money from customers or signature from charge-account customers.
• Loads route trucks for next day.
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine what cylinders and/or welding supplies need to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys cylinders or merchandise from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places cylinders and merchandise according to predetermined sequence such as size, type of gas or equipment, color or brand.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places cylinders and/or merchandise on trucks.
• Assists with semi-annual inventories, shipping and receiving and inside sales when needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 Requirements

Qualified candidate must possess:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commercial drivers license with hazardous materials, tanker, and air brake certificates.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to operate a pickup truck and forklift.
• General knowledge of computer programs such as Windows 95 and AS400 functions and other office equipment.
