Job Description
Web Designer / Developer
A well-established, rapidly growing Cleveland tech firm is seeking a positive take-charge individual to join our expanding development team as core web designer/developer. Candidates must have exceptional communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, excellent judgment, and the ability to be productive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Create and assist in the creation of website designs for new and existing websites.
- Responsible for the testing of website functionality and features.
- Research, install, and configure extensions for the content management system, as well as administering user accounts for new and existing websites.
- Assist in the monitoring of the performance of existing websites and digital media technologies.
- Provide input on departmental strategies/methods, as well as website documentation and testing reports.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of web technologies including: HTML, CSS, & JavaScript.
- Some exposure to PHP, SQL, XML, etc. also a plus.
- Experience using web editing tools and publishing methods.
- Additional experience using Adobe's Creative Suite, especially Photoshop a plus..
- A portfolio that demonstrates creativity, sophisticated design concepts and effective marketing solutions.
- Excellent time management skills. Able to manage multiple tasks and daily deadlines with minimal supervision while paying extraordinary attention to process and detail.
- Agile development environments preferred. Jquery experience, a plus.
