Classification: Accountant - StaffCompensation: DOERobert Half Accountemps is actively looking for qualified Staff Accountants to join a full-time consulting opportunity. Our Salaried Professional Service is a unique career position with our company that offers variety and stability! Our clientele consists of a broad industry base including Public and Private sectors.We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2+ years experience. The position requires strong general ledger reconciliation, month-end and year-end close experience. Responsibilities may include preparing and booking journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, accounts payable / receivable and preparing audit schedules. Must have hands on experience, and be a proactive, resourceful accountant with strong GAAP knowledge who can take an active role in various aspects of the accounting department. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, advanced Excel, as well as experience with ERP software packages is a must.
