We also operate in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.Working in the professional services group at Blackbaud you will be part of the Quality Assurance team responsible for evaluating and testing software components that make up the worlds leading non-profit solutions.
This position reports to an ECBU Technical Consulting Manager. The QA Analyst will be a member of a cross functional high-performing team, working directly with customers, other Quality Assurance Analysts, Business Analysts, software designers and engineers.
Performance Objectives:
• Perform functional, integration, install, compatibility, regression, and performance testing as needed to deliver quality products to our clients.
• Use tools and technologies to promote a comprehensive test methodology and increase efficiency.
• Learn the complexities of software systems to aide in analysis of potential problem areas.
• Self-prioritize tasks and share knowledge with team members.
• Write clear, detailed and concise defect reports and communicate with engineers to review and explain defect reports
• Take direction from senior team members to execute the appropriate amount of test coverage, including the creation and execution of test plans.
• Assist others in order to meet aggressive deadlines.
• Collaborate across teams to evaluate and suggest improvements to the software development process.
• Participate in design specification reviews with development team members to identify design issues early in the software development lifecycle and plan testing
Job Requirements
4 year degree or comparable technical experience
Experience with Microsoft SQL
Strong logical & problem solving skills
Experience with Microsoft products and technologies
Working or advanced knowledge of one of Blackbaud's products a plus
Experience with QA tools and software a plus
