AT&T Lead IT Client Consultant
A Lead IT Client Consultant works as a consulting team member or an individual consultant on product development, enhancement, or integration, . Expertise and work efforts focus primarily on the implementation and development of proprietary Peoplesoft HCM software products including requirements, planning, developement, implementation, support and documentation. Duties sometimes performed at customer's site. Operates under minimal supervision on medium to large size projects involving multiple products and/or platforms. Requires six to nine years of experience in software design, development, product support, or consulting with clients. Supervisory: No
- Work with the enhancement team on current and new client design and development cases. Candidate will likely travel little, but should be prepared to travel up to 100% if required.
- Lead and/or participate as a team member in all phases of a project including but not limited to conference room pilots, requirements gathering, fit gap analyses, construction, test, cut-over, production and post-production support to provide knowledge transfer and help our clients achieve improved business processes through the use of our software and services
- Assist client through all project phases directly or through engaging with other members of the AT&T organization
- The ability to travel to client sites and/or provide remote support to our clients
- Complete administrative responsibilities such as timesheets, expense reports and status reports in the designated timeframe
- Focus on continuous growth of your skills to maintain high marketability and credibility with clients, partners and co-workers
- Be a player in AT&T's quest for continued improvement, growth and achievement
The successful candidate will have experience as an individual contributor or team lead on multiple successfully completed full life cycle Peoplesoft 9.1 HCM implementations or upgrades. We are looking for world class experience as a PeopleSoft HCM functional/technical consultant. The ideal candidate will not only be an expert with the PeopleSoft software as well as Peopletools development. Candidate must be able to understand the functional aspect of work as well as be able to develop the solutions. Functional / Technical position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6+ years overall functional and technical experience with PeopleSoft HCM development lifecycle
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Experience in assisting with or leading RFPs and proposal writing
- Experience in pre-sales, demonstrations and/or presentations
- Proven success as a positive, professional and energetic team member dedicated to building positive spirit and team rapport
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly if needed
