POSITION OVERVIEW
The Business Account Executive is responsible for acquiring business customers through outbound prospecting and selected cold-calling. This position is expected to meet/exceed weekly activity goals to include appointments, proposals and closing prospects that fall within the scope of the GoWireless B2B Platform. This position reports to the Business Sales Manager.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Building contacts and relationships with business decision makers and influencers
- Generating leads and referrals through prospecting, cold-calling and networking
- Work professionally and ethically with all customers
- Comply with business sales forecast/funnel management expectations
- Utilize MS Office products, specifically MS Excel and MS Word
- Attending mandatory meetings
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of solution selling
- Work independently and utilizing good judgment
- Responsible for adherence to all Company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- 4 yr. degree in a related field preferred or High School Diploma with education substitution for experience on a year-by-year basis
- 2-3 years of account prospecting experience
- 1 yr. experience in Wireless telecommunications desired
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quota
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn a technical product or service
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Must be self-motivated, goal driven, high prioritization skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient computer skills
