Ajilon Professional Staffing specializing in the placement of corporate management and office support talent is currently seeking an Order Entry / Customer Service Representative for a long-term contract position in Central DFWarea.  


JOB SUMMARY:  


Responsible for order management by handling all the details from purchase order to shipment of product.  Responsible for maintaining effective customer service for all internal and external customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs.  


Job description order of importance is as follows:  

  • Solid order entry of sales orders (not purchase orders) 

  • Excellent data entry/ typing with accuracy (over 9000KSPH preferred) 

  • MAS 500 or experience with a major ERP 

  • Very detailed with strong follow-up  

  • Understanding of inventory and inventory flow  

  •   


    Duties and Responsibilities: 



    •         Review purchase orders for correct pricing, delivery information, item numbers, terms and conditions, and contact customers when needed. 



    •         Responsible for processing customer purchase orders, by verifying inventory availability, ship locations and transportation of product to shipping destinations. 



    •         Create order acknowledgements and revisions.  



    •         Monitor inventory availability, release orders to our warehouses, maintain backorder status. 



    •         Work with Sales Engineers to obtain completed Discount Authorization Requests (DAR) forms. 



    •         Check shipping invoices for accuracy and provide any special shipping instructions. 



    •         Process any change orders. 



    •         Initiate orders for replacement parts and/or for correcting errors (shortages, wrong item shipped, etc). 



    •         Provide tracking information to customers. 



    •         Maintain detailed files for documentation. 



    •         Answer customer inquires in a timely, efficient and knowledgeable manner. 


      


    Qualifications:  



    •         High School Diploma or equivalent 



    •         2+ years experience in customer service 



    •         Experience with ERP systems is preferred 


      


    Knowledge/Skills Required: 



    •         Computer Proficiency with the following software: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. 



    •         Ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences. 



    •         Strong customer service skills. 



    •         Ability to interact effectively with external customers and internal personnel. 



    •         Ability to write reports, business correspondence and document procedure manuals. 



    •         Excellent written/verbal communication skills.  



    •         Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems and resolve issues.  


      


    Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: 



    •         Required regularly to sit, talk, and listen. 



    •         Ability to read and analyze written information on a computer terminal. Close vision and the ability to adjust focus are necessary. 



    •         Must be able to lift boxes and/or equipment of up to 25 pounds. 



    •         Working Conditions ? noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to low.
