Description
Volt Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a Foreclosure Processor. Foreclosure processor will act as a liaison with other departments and with Foreclosure attorneys, investors, and PMI companies. The incumbent will be responsible for keeping each foreclosure file in compliance. This includes verifying all foreclosure documents are in the file and correct and foreclosure timelines are being met. Preparing files for the foreclosure sale by performing an audit of the file and providing sale's bids. Updating LPS and MSP to track the foreclosure process and the events that occur on each file. Review Foreclosure documents (First Legal Documentation, Title Reports, Judgment's, etc…) for accuracy. Review files prior to the foreclosure sale and submitting accurate bidding instructions. This will include reviewing files for HAMP eligibility, Pre-Certification reviews on GSE files, and performing a military search on all borrowers. Work in LPS Desktop completing all required work groups. Placing holds or postponing foreclosure sales when needed. Updating files once the hold is removed to reflect accurately in LPS/MSP. Works under general supervision applying well established techniques, procedures or specific standards. Work reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall accuracy. Executes policies at direction of supervisor and makes recommendations for change.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's Degree Preferred. Minimum 1-2 years mortgage banking experience and/or relevant work experience in a functional role preferred. Ability to work with Excel and Microsoft Word. At least 6 months of experience in Foreclosure or a related field. Time Management and ability to work under pressure. LPS Desktop and MSP.
